It's a capability we do get a lot of interest in, so it's definitely top of mind and designs are being actively looked at.Steven Woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06376596253100522418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1219593209707974691.post-39818680125768017752010-05-05T13:47:06.807-04:002010-05-05T13:47:06.807-04:00Well said, Baxter. For a global Eloqua instance it would be great to lock down contacts in certain regions.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03461862165396298803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1219593209707974691.post-83981125764678635992010-05-05T10:49:17.890-04:002010-05-05T10:49:17.890-04:00This is great -- but users get unfiltered access t...This is great -- but users get unfiltered access to all contacts in the database, which makes the distribution list security settings fairly useless. I hope at some point you are able to add the ability to set up "true" security groups, where we can lock down very specific parts of the application and assets for user groups so that users don't even see what they do not have access to.

Right now Basic Marketing users (the lowest access) can email the entire database at any time -- very risky for large organizations with many contacts and users.

Thanks and good luck!T.
